Our club is reaching a significant milestone in its history – 75 years old. Accordingly, we will be celebrating this milestone over the course of the 2020/21 summer. The festival events of these celebrations will be held over the Easter weekend – Friday 2 April 2021 to Sunday 4 April 2021.
We welcome all present and past members, family and friends of the club to join us for a weekend of fun, reunion and celebration of our great club.
The programme for the weekend is as follows:
Friday 2 April 2021 – “A night at the club”. Drinks, nibbles and plenty of catching up with old friends at the club rooms at Naenae Park.
Saturday 3 April 2021 – “A day of competition Friendship, Pride & Commitment”. Various sporting options detailed below.
Saturday 3 April 2021 – “The Gala Dinner – This is your life Naenae Old Boys”. 6pm til late at The Silverstream Retreat. A banquet dinner with Mr Bryan Waddle as MC, a guest speaker and a walk down the memory lane of the club.
Sunday 4 April 2021 – “Bowls, BBQ and a recovery session”. A mid-morning roll-up with a BBQ lunch at the Massey Bowling Club – hosted by Mr Paul Freeman.
The sporting options for Saturday afternoon are:
A game of cricket to be held – we are attempting to secure the Basin Reserve but that is to be confirmed yet.
